Perfect Day Charters is a family-owned and operated Sydney Harbour charter company, founded and run by owner Glen Davis. At its heart, the business is built on one simple belief: A perfect day on the water should feel unforgettable.

Glen is a proud Indigenous man with more than two decades of hospitality experience behind him. He built his career owning and operating hatted restaurants and cafes across Sydney before founding Custodian Consulting, where for more than 15 years he has helped restaurants refine their craft, from front-of-house operations to wine programs designed to genuinely elevate the guest experience.

For Glen, hospitality has never simply been a career. It’s something he lives and breathes, and that experience is reflected in every detail of the way Perfect Day Charters welcomes and looks after its guests.

That same passion for creating memorable experiences eventually drew Glen to the water. What began with a single boat has grown into a fleet of five vessels, each able to host between two and 44 guests. Today, Perfect Day Charters welcomes everything from intimate gatherings and micro weddings to milestone celebrations and corporate events, all set against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour.

Under Glen’s ownership, the philosophy remains beautifully simple: chartering a boat isn’t really about the boat. It’s about what happens on board. The laughter, the toasts, the conversations, the quiet moments taking in the harbour, and the feeling of being genuinely looked after from the moment you step aboard to the moment you disembark.
